Companies Will Donate To SDO When You Shop

Some stores will donate to your favorite non-profit when you shop with them. Sustainable Delaware Ohio is a registered donation recipient at Kroger. If you shop there, please consider spending a few minutes adjusting your user accounts and you will be supporting your favorite non-profit when you buy what you were going to buy anyway.

You must have a registered Kroger “Plus” rewards card account to participate. These can be obtained from the customer service desk at any Kroger location. Visit Kroger.com and log in using your Kroger account. New users will need to create an account, which requires some basic information, a valid email address, and a rewards card number. Once logged in, at the bottom of the page, click on Kroger Community Rewards under the COMMUNITY column and click on I’m A Customer. From there, search for SUSTAINABLE DELAWARE OHIO either by name or RJ931 and then click Enroll.

After that, whenever you swipe your Plus Card to make purchases, Kroger will count your spending towards SDO’s credit. The payout calculation isn’t as straightforward as a percentage. From Kroger’s web site: “Kroger will pay up to $1,000,000 on a quarterly basis to participating organizations based on their percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending of all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations.”

Thanks you for your support!
